For nearly a half century, Dave Despain has been one of the most iconic voices in motor sports. A love for motorcycles transformed into an aptitude for calling races into a PA microphone and by pure “dumb luck” Despain was the “expert” in the right spot in 1975 and i guess the rest in history as they say.
